Default Anyone Ever do a Custom Cat Back?

I have a reputable exhaust shop nearby that says they can do a custom cat back 2.25" exhaust. They have Magna Flow mufflers. The price would be much less than the Stromung. I have a 2002 Forester S non turbo. Would this be a good option?

Magnaflows and Flowmasters sound like **** on Subarus IMO. But a "custom" job is all fine if you want to save a few pennies. I welded my own header and catback, and it's been fine so far.

I love the sound of my Stromung. I would definitely pay for it again.

I also put a ebay wrx on my 98 obs and it sounded great. The exhaust shop could mount it for you.

That too, what's the diameter on it? I don't this after the cat size plays to much of a big role unless its something ridicules

Which magnaflow is it? Did you just get the muffler bolted on or you had some other exhaust work does as well?

It is a 3 inch. It was to loud so I put a glasspack on it and it was still to loud so I put an auger in it then it was ok.

I like the sound of my Borla's. A little raspy but not to bad. 2 1/2" cat back dual muffler set up.
