Sounds good. This isn't bad enough to want fixed, it's just a good reminder that I've had really good luck with my phones and that might not always be the case.

Oh, and you have to purchase AppleCare when you purchase the phone. Sorry man.

Edit: Actually now I'm reading you can go to an Apple Store within 30 days and purchase. When I got mine at AT&T, they said I must buy it then, but they conveniently left out "to buy it from AT&T".

Ah crap, they must have changed that. I bought AppleCare+ over the phone for Shannon's 4S.

- Buy it within 30 days of your iPhone purchase at Apple Retail (requires inspection of the iPhone & proof of purchase). Your iPhone purchase date is the date we ship and charge you for your order.

Yep. But the data being pulled is not really tied to you persay. Its more of a "White Male 30 something visited lemonparty.com twice while outside an old navy outlet store at this coordinates"

Its not actually saying "BlackBeastie is looking at old dudes sucking eachother off and this is his phone number so you can send him targeted ads for oldmen BJs."

The word from Magpul (my friend is a dealer) is the 5 case is in development. I am waiting impatiently.

In the mean time, I acquired a silicone case from GameStop for the low low price of free. They had them on the shelf for $10, and it looked decent enough because it was slim and would prevent it from sliding around in my dash pocket. I went to pay for it and it rang up as $0.00, the guy looked at it sideways, then printed a receipt and said, "Have a nice day."
Magpul case. Heck. Yes.

Either way, I don't like being used unless I know about it and agree to it.

I'm obviously buying a magpul as soon as they are available. Last one rocked.

I had the Executive case because it came out first. Anyone have a Field? It looked a bit tougher.

I have several of both. I preferred the Field model but it is a little thicker.

The iOS6 and iPhone 5 jailbreak has already been done. It is just being packaged and idiot proofed before final release.

If you think the whole jailbreak community revolves around one guy, you're quite wrong.

Most credit card companies offer some sort of insurance or warranty on purchases made with the card. I recommend calling them and asking.

Hopefully they came out at the same time. Kind of interested in their new grey color.

Battery life on my 5 is starting to drop.. Last night I downloaded Sparrow to handle email.. This morning I unplugged my phone at 7am. At 11:45am today my battery life is down to 40%. All I've done is some light facebooking..

Also dealing with the inconsistant and slow wifi problems plaguing many. I may try to bring this thing in for a swap.

I'll give it a go tomorrow after work.. I can plug in today but not happy with the poor battery life. I'll look into the push notifications.. Sparrow runs imap so it's always looking at google for email and has no check interval. Maybe something I can message the developer about.

i seriously wouldn't know how quickly i would run out of battery if i didn't buy an extra phone to usb cable. i have it connected to my phone every time i'm sitting down on my desk so i'm always at 100%

of course, thanks to the new pin connector cables, you guys have to go out of your way to buy an additional one unless you want the hassle of bringing it to work and taking it back home every day.

I've actually repeatedly read that it's bad to let them fully drain too often. Lithium Ions apparently do best not letting them get below 20% frequently and don't suffer "memory" like the old style batteries.
