iP5 battery spotted. It's 2.3% larger than the iP4s (5.45wh vs 5.3wh). Just shows you how efficient those phones are. My GNex's battery is 7.8wh.

I guess the screen is insane too, brighter without using as many led's as the older smaller screen also.

I'd be shocked if it touches the AMOLED's in brightness. I hope it's as beautiful as the Super LCD in the One X. If not, it will disappoint. The current iP4 display, while color accurate, is kind of meh.

I hope that Apple worked on some efficiency gains somewhere because they are adding screen size and LTE, but the battery is basically staying the same. The iP4s wasn't outstanding in battery life as it was, right?

So is it confirmed the iPhone 5 will have a different connector port than the previous models making it incompatible will all the existing USB cables/chargers/peripherals?

Basically confirmed. They have found the housings, the circuit boards, cases, and cables now indicating the new connector.

Apple makes some nice stuff but to me it's all just so boring and bland. I like my Android tablet and phone cause it doesn't look like everybody else's phone or tablet. You can literally spend days customizing all aspects of your phone. Obviously that's not for everyone. But I'm a tinkering kind of person and get bored with stuff unless I can mess with it and modify it.

I just feel like it's been a long long time since apple has come out with anything mind blowing like the first ipod and iphone was. They are only a tiny bit ahead of the curve these days

iPhone 4s battery is actually not that bad. I get two solid days out of mine.

I don't understand why Apple would shoot themselves in the foot by making the IP5 incompatible with all the existing chargers, cables, docks, stereos, car adapters, and all the other 3rd party hardware peripherals

If you think people who have an iPhone and want to upgrade won't do so because of this, you're high. They may do it begrudgingly, but they will buy the accessories that they need.

The new 9-pin connector is in response to the delicacy of the series 1 to 4 32-pin connector....so how many damaged connectors will we see when everyone buys a 32-to-9-pin adapter plug to connect it, bedside?

Where's that eyeroll smilie when I need it.....

I can see apple coming out with an adapter for legacy connectors to work with newer ones.

i meant their expectations to sell many more peripherals. not that someone wouldn't upgrade because of the changed connector. although it's on my cons list.

Uh what? AMOLED screens have terrible brightness, that's the #1 complaint.

How do you figure? My phone is consistently brighter than any phone I compare I to... I would have figured the AMOLED screen's biggest complaint would be the over saturation. Perhaps I haven't compared it to any of the newer generation LCD's. I actually hate that I can't make my screen dimmer (without app that is).

Nothing will ever outsell the iphone. I never understood the comparison because there is basically only one iphone. If Samsung was the only Android maker with the S3, that would be a comparison to make to the iphone 5 in terms of sales. But that's not the case. Literally 100 different phones vs. like 5 phones is a dumb comparison.

Total Android product sales vs. total iOS product sales is a better comparison.
