Default "Door Ajar" flickers [isolated]

So for the past month I've noticed that my door ajar light flickers occasionally on random bumps or sharp turns. Tonight I finally isolated it to my rear passenger door, if i push firmly against it from the inside the door ajar will flicker/stay on depending how hard I push. I dont really have any idea on how to go about fixing this issue.

Anyone with past experience with this? Any ideas help.

Thanks!

The door jam switch needs to be replaced.

It's kind of like the switch in the refrigerator that makes the light go off when you close the door.

Not that expensive to fix....

You're welcome.

Should be pretty easy to fix now that you know which door it is.

First check the screws for the latch on the door. Mine were loose, a little loctite worked great. If still happens replace the switch.
