Default what's the best method for removing a broken wheel stud?

I've got a broken wheel stud on the rear wheel of my 99 Impreza L, what's the best way to remove to it so I can replace it?

BTW this car has drum brakes in the rear I don't know makes the rear hubs different.

This may help to an extent although its for newer imprezas. Good place to start though.

1. remove wheel.
2. removed drum cover.
3. check all interior hardware & make sure nothing is out of place.
4. turn until rear of hub is clear.
5. hit with hammer carefully.
