The worst part, now I want a bugeye or a GC8 to fix up on the side and add to the stable lol.
I think that happens to most of us subaru enthusiasts. When i finally bought my sti I had about $10k to play with and was gonna put it all in the sti. 10 months later and after putting about $5k in my sti I said to myself,"I cant daily drive this anymore, its to precious." So I bought a 2000 rs2.5 to daily drive and play with.

18 when I finally got my WRX wagon. I spent the 6 months prior trying to track down one in my area that was not beaten, and only got to physically look at 4 of the 10 I went to see with my dad because they sold so quickly. I only looked at one wagon and turned my nose up immediately because I wanted a sedan, but am now fully in love with her Stage 2+ and no surprises yet, fingers crossed

Bought the RS at 22 and after the swap and all mods it cost me around 20k + another 10k+ in mechanic service/repairs since then. The engine has 90k on it now, planning on driving it until it blows up. It's not so bad considering I only pay 400 a year on it for insurance.

17 when i bought my first 2002 wrx. sold it at 18 to try some other cars around and bought my next 02 wrx a few months ago(i'm now 20). not letting this one go though. I'm in college and paying for bills too. I just drove crap cars for a while and sat on my money till i found one cheap enough to afford.

if you already have a 2.5i, why not just keep it and save up to do a build in the future? fast cars are fun....but expensive. If purchasing a more performance oriented car is barely in the budget, i wouldn't do it. there's a lot more to worry about breaking if you have a car that makes more power. stay reliable for now, save up and go crazy in a few years

21, dad bought my sti. Don't have to pay for it or pay any college loans. Kinda spoiled.

Haven't bought one yet.

<--- I did buy my first car myself at 15, though.
