Is because it is a one piece bar and most others are three pieces. I figured a weld is more rigid than a single bolt.

First of all thanks!
I don't go to meets really anymore, partly because I'm busy and partly because everyone I used to know at them doesn't go anymore. I kind of just turned into an old fart I guess. Is there a thread for this meet in the NWIC? I may show up sometime

Yeah, those adapters are great, they fit perfectly and you got them to me so fast!! Thanks!
My car was already apart before I knew I needed them so you really saved my ass

Installed all my rear suspension stuff today, the trailing arms were a pain in the ass, the lateral link went pretty smoothly, it was a time consuming job.

All the parts are awesome but because I am a little picky about details, it really bugs me that the MSI logo is upside down on the lateral links. Oh well

Got my seat in today, it puts you really low in the car, not sure if I like it but it is comfortable.

You should hit up Kelly at Speedware. He made me custom one inch risers for my Sparcos

I was up there yesterday for an alignment and picked up the bracket while I was there It doesn't quite fit right so I went back up today and they are fixing it. They think something may have happened to their jig alternatively my car could be weird.
Kelly is a great guy! Speedware has great customer service too

Yeah he busted those out for me real quick and at a good price. Way cheaper than what 425 Motorsports were asking to custom fab brackets on. I was wondering who's car they posted up on their site. Turns out it was yours! They do some great work. Alignments are a bit pricey but worth it. They get some real cool cars in there all the time. Love that place minus MSFT Traffic getting there lol.

Shoot didn't even see that, AWESOME!!

Yeah, they always take the time to talk to me let me know any issues. I feel like they understand that I am pretty knowledgeable about cars and so they don't need to dumb stuff down, that's why I will keep going back. If I had enough money I'd let them do the maintenance but for now its cheaper for me to do everything I have the tools for.

I left about 4:30 heading south on 405 Tuesday, got home at 6

Thought I'd post some pics of my car and the others in the family's garage. We have a thing for 1970 Chevy's All of these are cell phone pictures, once the weather gets nicer I am taking some good pictures of the whole fleet. We have 9 cars now I think.

Obviously a couple are some project cars, some aren't

And just for a little more Subaru content.

Found my dyno graph from my tune

These are the uncorrected numbers
298 Horse Power at 6,550 RPM 260 ft lbs of Torque at 4,800 RPM
Average Horse Power 192.2hp Average Torque 207.1ft lbs

Not that impressive but I like that I have pretty good average HP and TQ

Thanks! It's not as powerful as I'd like the car to be, I'd eventually like to have a 400hp 2.0 liter that will rev out higher. That's going to be a while though but eventually

Indeed I did, so far I am liking it. It is pretty low in the car though. You know much about it? I am pretty sure its real.

I'm positive it's real. And like sunny said a few shops can make you a riser.

Yeah, I'm just going to leave it for now, if it really becomes a problem I'll have speedware make some for me.

Haven't been doing much recently except regular cleaning and maintenance.
I was doing an oil change this weekend though and decided to chase down an oil leak, wound up with the downpipe and wastegate off. While it was off I wrapped the downpipe with DEI Titanium Heat Wrap.
I am pretty sure I got the oil leak solved with hose clamps on the oil return line from the turbo, I haven't seen any more drips but it might take a little time.

Just a random pic of the garage with my wifes Sportcross.

I drive the car a lot now and have to say, I love it. An IS300 with the convenience of a wagon makes it a nearly perfect car. Plus there were only about 3,000 sold in the United States so not very common either. It is probably going to see the next round of modification rather than my car, probably exhaust and springs and shocks. It is weird to me how little you can do to the car without forced induction.

And one more of mine just cause it is a Subaru forum lol
