Default Hawkeye Enkei RFP1's 18"

hey guys

iv got a 2006 WRX STI currently running some OZ racing Ultrleggera rims 18x8 +48's on 225/40 tyres that im wanting to get rid of and get some Enkei RFP1's. I live in australia so the fitment thing is slowley growing but not as big as it is for you guys.

what im chasing are the best fitment options for the Enkei RFP1's to suit my car. iv been reading through this forum, my local forum, rim tuck.com ect ect and there so much information but nothing really is specific to what im chasing so sorry for anyone that get's pissed off by this thread, im wanting to chase opinions and advice from other's running the set up i want to run.

okay so down to business!!!!
Rims - Enkei RFP1's Matt Black
Tyres - 225/40/18
offsett - ?
rim width - ?

they are the two things i'm not sure about. i was thinking 18x9 +35
i want it to sit flush. If i run them outside the fenders i will get done by the cops...so fitment is pretty important but i dont want them to be like my +48 offset i have now.

any help would be awesome

thanks in advance

dan

picc of how i want it to sit:

i know this red one is running 18x9.5 +35

To run a 9.5" wide wheel on your body style your going to most deifnatley need to roll the fenders and most likely pull them...

I do love those wheels, but they only look good when the car is low, witch kind of defeats the purpose of getting in the first place. :/

thats one of the main problems over here...no one can shave/roll/pull our rear fenders

what sized do you think i can run comfortably while still keeping it practicle...should i stick with something like a 18x9 +35 or something?

If you have noone who can at least roll, stick with a similar fitment to what you have now.

i just slapped on 18x9.5 +35 's on this weekend and i love em.

225/40/18 tire at the moment as im trying to source out a fatter tire 245's or 255. well see.

- ended up using ichiba 10 spacers with extended studs.
- not dumped but lowered a bit
- i dont rub
- no roll or pull
- -2.4 degrees camber rear
- max neg camber front( pillow ball mounts )

i know i know, needs moar low.

^^^ I disagree about the more low. Get some 245/35 or 255/35 tires and it will look great. Nothing pulls off rpf1s like a nice set of fat tires.

06 sti... you can run the 18x9.5 +45's and a 265/35 tyre. perfect. only question is brake clearance.
