Default Sleeper_RS build

So a couple of people have wanted me to get a thread going on my current build. It's gonna take some time, but here it is. (I will post pics once I figure out how to do so on an iPhone.)

Current car: 05 2.5RS 5mt
Color: silver
Miles: 172k on chassis and Trans
Engine: JDM sohc ej253 with 45k miles

Bolt ons: Injen CAI, obx EL Headers, 2.25" exhaust with one cat,( soon to be removed) 18" glass pack and borla muffler.

Clutch: stage one/ stock flywheel

Exterior: rally armor mudflaps, wrx trunk wing, debadged, wrx hood, 35% tint, custom black grill.

Side note: I did have my tuner go into my ecu and turn off the p0420 code from the headers, so there is no more cel, an I now have cruise control back.

More updates to come

What system is your tuner using? Open source, or just a reflash?

since you went to a jdm na engine, why you did not go for the jdm ej204 heads and usdm ej251/3 shortblock???

a stock jdm ej204 makes a 195hp @ 7900 rpm I guess with extra 0.5L you can hit 240hp on almost stock engine

^^^^ damn I wish I knew that. When I replaced the motor last year, I needed one ASAP so I threw this one in, and I didn't know much about Subaru at the time. If I would have known, I would have gone that way. I'll definitely look into it though. Might be a cool swap haha

Just a built ej253 (pnp heads, delta 1500 cams, valve springs, opensource tune, with a lot of other goodies), and suspension work, for my DD/track car.

You want more details? (not being rude) I have an extensive list of my upcoming mods/changes.

Nice see what the old EJ253 can produce, ill guess 135 at the wheels and that a liberal guess given the changes made. (Not a negative comment b/c your build list is nice)

Wait what makes this a sleeper...especially if your doing exterior mods and nothing "over the top" under the hood?

This build sounds a lot like my 2.5i, I love the car but it isn't a sleeper cause its asleep lol Still quicker than most n/a cars in its class
