<whining> but it's $300. </whining>

I guess I'll know if it's worth it or not when I go to court on Sept. 11 for my 25mph over the speed limit ticket.

Ya I know but I for one think you get what you pay for with anything really. I paid $400 for my new V1 so $300 is tempting.

Yeah she stopped right in front of the Lakewood Police Dept

Said she was scared for her life and ran some stop lights and I ran them with her

Thus I get ticketed for careless driving

Cliff, back to the thread subject......

Kaze, Ronin and I all have Passport 8500's and I think I can safely say we are all very pleased with them. The V1 I tried out was no doubt a nice unit, but it seemed to go off all the time whereas the Passport only seems to go off when theres a cop around or at least a very strong signal.

I paid $179 for my Passport at Soundtrack and I have been thrilled with it. Dont fall for the "its better cos it costs more" BS people in here will tell you - its not true half the time.

Thank you. Isn't that one rated #1 in the "Radartest" test. I'm not into paper racing of radar detectors, but I have heard lots of good things about the Passport.

Hey, what court are you going to? I have court at the Jefferson County court house on the same day for a ticket I got on Chatfeild lake.
