2015 CVT WRX. 50,000 MILES.
I'm gonna shorten this as much as possible. My engine spun bearings and bent a rod last oct. Dealer rebuilt shortblock under warranty. 1 week after I pick it up CEL came on, was told Cam gear issue. Replaced cams and oil valves, repeat this issue 5 times. Last month they replaced cam shaft, cam gears, oil valves, ecm basically everything all over. Light came back on next day. I opened a case with Subaru in July. Got the run around , was told to wait and see. Finally got escalated and now am being told they are replacing the short block again. I've asking for a new long block because the techs at the dealership said I need one but management won't approve it. The person at SOA checked and said they don't make 2015 wrx longblocks any more and that a new shortblock is all I can get. Anyone familiar or know if that's true? Am I SOL. All this is under warranty btw and I haven't had my car for over a week since last oct! Help!
