Default Navigation problems with 2016 STI

Hey guys, So i bought a 2016 sti few months back. The navigation was working fine for the first month and than after there was a delay of loading the maps. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the radio 2x and replaced the SD. but i am still having the same issue. So i contacted SOA and they made a relase agreement saying that i cant complain about the nav. anymore and they are willing to give me money for what i paid for the nav pack. The guy said this does not fall under lemon law. What do I do? thanks

Hello, I'd say take the money and buy yourself a new audio system. I've never personally seen factory audio covered under lemon law and my guess would be that's why you're able to put new radios and speakers in the car without voiding the manufacturer warranty

You were given a book when you purchased your vehicle that explains the lemon law for your state . Every state is different.

How long is the delay? Is anything else being used at the same time?

I'd ask for more money. You know, for your time.

I mean i absolutely can put a new radio but that will avoid the warranty for all the other components. If my amp or sub blows out they will not cover it. I have a release form which I will post. The thing i dont understand is this, When i turn on the car sometimes it works fine and other times a error comes up saying,"Can not read SD card, consult with dealer if necessary." The delay depends anywhere from 30sec-2mins.

lol...dont sign anything and make them fix their scrap.

Its understandable that you can replace the system with the money but it is always nicer to have something factory vs a horrible looking aftermarket replacement.

Lol. True. But theyre going to fix that thats why they want to pay me. I questioned the engineer who designs this and he cant answer my questions..

Lame....sad that in 2016 subaru cannot figure out a navigation system.

Reason 1001 why I no longer and will most likely never own a subaru again.
