Default Can't Datalog with Romraider

My Romraider logger won't connect to my ECU.

Computer: Windows 7 Macbook
Tactrix: 1.3
Romraider Version: 0.5.2 and 0.5.5

I can connect with this setup using Learning View and ECU flash, but for some reason it doesn't want to connect with the Logger. It shows up with the correct com port but keeps saying connecting.

Thoughts?

Why don't you try reading the Romraider FAQ's and searching. Goota be like 10 posts a week on this..........90% of this is not reading the instructions/FAQ's.

I've datalogged before on a previous computer. All the drivers/definitions are updated. It doesn't make sense that I can connect to learning view/ecu flash, just not logger.

Yes it does, considering you are not using the same computer. Probably installer error. Like I said, read the FAQ's. Specifically the part about installing on Windows Vista/7 operating systems.

Yes I did follow those directions. Considering the operating systems are the same, the hardware doesn't matter unless it directly affects the use of the cable.

The computer using Learning view and ECUflash working means that the connection/drivers work. If they did NOT, then the issue is the connection.

Fixed. The problem was I was downloading the wrong logger definition somehow.
