Sup guys been a while since i posted. I got the vishnu stage 0 kit installed about a month ago. Everything was fine until one day after school going to start the car and it wouldn't start. It was rolling over and my battery was fine. Now i don't know for sure that it was the chip but isn't that a problem usually with chips?
Anyway I was wondering if any of the guys out there with the vishnu kits had any probs like mine or just any probs at all. And if any of u guys got any opions of what else it could be let me know. Thnax -Paul

Try asking in FFI shiv would probably have a better chance of seeing this in there. He might be able to answer questions you might have

Were you parked on an incline at all, or low on gas? Mine does this too if I meet those two requirements, one or the other.
And I don't have a chip. Something like this has been talked about before so you could probably find more information in either FFI or the service forums. Not sure if it's the same problem or related to the chip though, but this one seems to be the most common. I think the resolution was to turn the key to the ON position to prime up the fuel pump, wait about 2 seconds and then turn the key to the START position and start the car. It does work, it's just getting into the habit of doing that everytime is my problem. |

Which type of harness do you have? If it's the older type (the one that is hard-wired) then check and make sure that it is connected snugly. If some how it wasn't connected (where you here it click) it could've backed itself off. If that's the case then it will not run.
Otherwise, if it's connected properly then it would be the Unichip. Just make sure that you look at the wires and that none of them have broke loose. |

I have the vishnu stage 0 and have had no problems, other than a few CELs because of the lack of cats. But no starting problems.
Could be a faulty Chip, I'd call Shiv or Brent at Vishnu. Eric |
