I'm actually really impressed. Not only is it fast and actually seems to do a kinda decent job getting traction and using the power. (Even though with that trap speed in a rwd car would be in the 9's) but on top of all that it looks pretty mild. Which I like. Ive seen all out honda drag cars up there with full cages and wide slicks running way slower than that.

^^^ This is what I really like about the car. To an untrained eye, it does not look all that different. But once you start looking, you can see the FMIC and the wheels, you can tell there's something brewing under the hood. He's aiming to get into 9s next year. Very impressive.

Nice to see my Honda brothers doing something respectable for once :P
There's nothing wrong with a turbo Honda for a daily driver though, you just gotta keep two hands on the wheel at all times. |

Your friend seriously needs to pull that entire powerplant out and sell it to me so I can put it into my CRX. No, really. If he happens to roll the car, shoot me a PM. |

You have a respectable Honda in Manchester, NH? Pics are required, because I don't believe it.

I think the hate is directed towards "ricers" more than Honda in general. Just seems that Hondas tend to be a magnet for it. Clearly, a Honda (or in the OP case, Acura) can be built. But I digress.
Car in OP reminds me of a buddy of mine, he loves older (relatively speaking) cars, but his style is to build up the engine, but keep the outside stock. He has a Toyota MR2 (W20), Pontiac Fiero, Mitsubishi Galant VR4... and another one or two DSM's that I can't remember. All stock on the outside, but work done on motor. Actually, the Fiero is a track only car... no interior on that one. ![]() - HP |

I love hondas, esp the old EK hatchbacks. I just hate seeing the hondas with rice thrown all over them. :/

I started in the Honda world...miss my old '90 Accord to this day (waaaay too much money in de-rusting on that car). Learned SO much on that car. Handled quite well, even if your average minivan could blow the doors off it in a straight line.
My lottery list includes a 98 Champ. White ITR. |
