Subiefest Convoy

Okay guys/gals, the Subiefest is coming up soon. This thread will start the convoy process for those who are interested in meeting up. I am from the Prescott area and will be meeting up with everyone in the valley on Friday, October 5th

I am thinking around 9am so we reach Cali in time to check in to our hotels. Meeting somewhere maybe around or right off the I-10 so we could just start heading west.
I will find out on a meeting place and keep everyone posted or if someone knows of an area, feel free to post. Thank you!

I am Leaving from Prescott too. Actually prescott Valley to be exact.

Just a suggestion as I will not be attending, but there is a Dunkin Donuts/McDonalds in Buckeye off of the I10 and Watson rd. I've started another California caravan from that area and it worked out well. It's on the outskirts of town so less traffic and there is food/gas/bank in the same parking lot. Just throwing it out there.

Hey! Hi! I compiled a small list of people that have posted that they may be going and may want to convoy...Sorry if locations not accurate... Maybe we need to break it down to who is going in morning, afternoon, evening, idk...Make sure to add to list.

take me off the list. I had to call it, we don't have the funds for it this year. The forester is just not quite right and I don't want to risk the gas money in another car if I end up needing it for later.

I should be with ArronStump on the 5th he's helping me with a clutch thing, I'm definitely down to convoy, hoping to get to CA at a half decent hour though wanna hit the bar with a buddy I haven't seen but whatever works, wouldn't miss it for the world.

I'm all in. Just tell me when and where! Friday morning or late afternoon work for me. Seems like some people may be getting off work at 5:00 so it might be easier for us to accommodate rather then them lose money by getting off work.

thanks again! Keep in mind dynocomp will be doing a friday evening convoy (around 7pm) from their shop in Scottsdale everybody. Ill probably be joining them, even though im in north Phoenix

So the idea is we're leaving Phoenix at 10 or 11am? Where is the meeting spot?
I'm gonna be down there getting something welded and then I'm planning on meeting up for the ride to CA, lemme know where it's at, posted my number if texting me is easier, see above

That's the parking lot I was talking about. It's a good spot, they have food, gas, banking, and (just in case) a Discount tire. It's on the East side of the road, just South of the freeway. I've done a California caravan from that point and all you have to do is make a Right out of the parking lot and a Left onto the freeway. There is only a housing development on the north side of the freeway, so there isn't much opposing traffic when you make your left turn onto the freeway.

Just watch out for the Undercover black Mustang GT, lol.

On a side note, didn't I read that Dynocomp is doing a caravan?

I read that to. But they are leaving at like 7:00 PM. So they will be driving all night.

Me neither. Not sure. I heard a slight comment about it. But I haven't heard a bunch. I also wanted to add. After we get into Pomona area, I am taking my car to my boys detailing coming in Anaheim. He does spray wax wash's for like $25.00. He is going to keep it open late for anyone who wants to come through. That way you car is looking sexy for Subiefest after the dirty drive. If you would like to get in on the deal let me know. That way I can let him know the count of cars coming through.
