Default STI - Faint rattle as turbo spools on 5-6th gear

New car, it currently has 300 miles. I am still breaking it in and I drive to to and from work on the highway. Today on the way back from work I noticed that when I accelerated in 6th (and even in 5th). i would heard a faint rattle as the turbo would spool.

I have been driving my car in 'I' mode and when I say accelerate, I do not mean mash, I mean normal acceleration to change lanes or maneuver.

I have been reading about the uppipe shield rattle. Could this be it with such a new car?

How hard is it to remove? - I don't really want to take my car to the dealer if I don't have to.
I appreciate any input.

I'd post this in the technical section to see more responses. Most people here are n/a Imprezas and older models.

Spark knock? What speed are you trying to go from in each gear?

^ lets say 75-85, or 80-85 in 5th or 6th
the car is brand new.

Weird. I wouldn't think it would knock from those speeds. Are you still running the first tank thrugh the car. Maybe they put regular fuel in it vs. premium.
