I'll be ready if we actually get some snow. I didn't even attempt to buy a pass this year, I heard snow conditions were going to suck, and the only place that can make their own snow is Breck because of the draught and Breck has their own water supply.

I'm so there. I just hope we get some snow. The irony of last year was that I had my best day ever last January in Steamboat. Weird.

I'm buying a Copper 4 pass, and I can get SERIOUSLY discounted tickets if I ever want to go to Keystone, Breck, A-basin, Beaver Creek, or Vail. I think there may only be 4 days worth riding.
New board $500 New bindings $200 Good snow...priceless |

Seeing as to how the other winters have been after such a dry summer, I'm for the first time in 5 years thinking we may actually get some snow.
Look at the summer of 82,94 which were both as bad. The next winter season kicked ass AND I HOPE THE SAME IS TRUE THIS WINTER Breck gets their water from Dillon Dam which you know is about 70' below usuall levels cause of people from Denver like us that want to water their yards.... so no snowmaking till Xmas is what I hear from friends in Breck. Jan riding since '88 |

Haha, knuckeldraggers
kidding, I ski with a knuckledragger and he manages to keep up Actually, Park City is my favorite place to ski. I'm probably alittle one-sided because I pretty much grew up skiing there. Even though I live in CO, had a Winter Park pass, I had more days skiing in Park City than I did in CO. Utah snow is the best. ![]() |

I'll be buying a Utah Locals pass up at Park City this year. I'm a fan of the easy riding at Park City (good for the gf) and the awesome double diamonds up at the top of the Bird and Park City. Hopefully Phillips 66 does their buy 1 get 1 free deal at the Bird again this year. I think we went 4 or 5 times up there at half price last year
. I'll probably be up to Brighton later in the year since they are the cheapest full price lift tickets and have great trails too.-Jon www.nothingserious.net I'm also --> <-- far away from buying a Yakima board rack too... |

Alright, I gotta get in on this and show some love for the two-plankers. This was taken at Alta, UT in spring 2000. God I love Utah.

Farmer's Almanac says to get ready for some long needed snow. I think the season is going to be great and I'm more than ready. I got a new ride for the slopes and the pipe and I plan on competing in the pipe also. Anyone ever needs a friend to go with, it's me. Laters, J

An excerpt from the National Weather Service's forecast for Colorado's Summit/Grand/Eagle counties:.
TUESDAY...CLOUDY. SCATTERED RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS IN THE MORNING. THEN SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON. HIGHS 39 TO 54. .TUESDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLOUDY. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED EVENING THUNDERSTORMS. LOWS 29 TO 38. Utah's Cottonwood Canyons: TUESDAY NIGHT...PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A 50 PERCENT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. LOWS AT 8000 FEET IN THE LOWER 40S. Not as good, but you guys don't have to worry about crap winters like we do. Loveland and Keystone should be open in, what, a month and a half? It's been a long hot summer. Bring it, baby! josh |
