Default 07 STI dead, Help Please!!!

Got the car about 2 years ago and hod no issues running stage 2 for the past 15k miles, until now that is. I was driving and suddenly my abs light started coming on and off. every time it came on the car lost electricity. everything would go blank, stereo, valentine would reset, lights.. (you get the point) and it would make a clicky sound like a relay going on and off. Managed to drive back home, but once i shut off the engine it all went blank. No signs of life. all i get is the ABS light and Airbags. nothing else on the panel, not even the clock. The overhead light is flickering and it just feels like something is shorting out.
Car does have Viper remote start installed, alarm still works. I'm going to check all the fuses and relays, and really hope that its going to be that simple!! Please advise if you have head of a similar problem/solution to it...
Thanks guys, Julius

The trouble should be pretty easy to find. The flickering light most likely means a bad connection to power rather than a short. The first thing to do is clean the battery connections, even if they look okay, make sure they are snug tight to the posts and not over tightened. Use a test light to verify that power to the battery posts is okay. Then check the battery connection to chassis ground and also the lead from the battery hot side that goes to the main fuse panel under the hood. Check for any wire damage. Use a test light probe to verify power is getting to the fuses in the main panel. Those fuses should be hot all the time. If things are fine to that point then you need to move on to the ignition switch and fuse panel in the dash. Check for power getting to the fuses there when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. If power isn't getting to them then the ignition switch or connection to it is most likely the cause of the trouble. Use your test light to verify the switch operation.

Thanks guys!, The prize goes to LIChuck! It was indeed a bad battery. So odd though cause the next day car started as normal but once shut off would be dead again... anyways, checked all the power supply and ground circuits and couldn't find a problem anywhere. Battery was showing 11.7v - just for $hits and giggles i tried jump starting the car and it worked.. It was a faulty battery so i just got a free replacement from Autozone +1 for warranty
