Just a suggestion, Gallagher's pub off of stadium has got a pretty large parking lot in the back. They have good food and you also dont need to be 21 to be admitted.

That's a good idea. Either Gallagher's, or Roadhouse if good for me!

Let's stick with Roadhouse since we already have a map and stuff up there. We can always drive to Gallagher's once were all there too if we decide.

7 sounds good.

I didn't have any beer at the Roadhouse, and I could tell it was weak. I much prefer the Beer Exchange on Thursdays.

Also, I really liked the earlier proposed idea of having a car cleaning/detailing get together, now that the weather has warmed up. Do you guys want to get together some time next week to do that?

I don't think I can offer up my parent's garage tonight. I can ask around if anybody I know in kalamazoo has a place you could use tonight. Worse comes for worst, the Miller Auditorium parking garage is usually pretty empty, and well lit.

I have all the factory service manuals for the GD Chassis Imprezas. That's generally a big help. I might be able to sneak out tonight and offer some help and tools.

I might need a Red Bull, though lol

If it's anything like an LGT, it's a pretty simple replacement. Did you also get the resistor because that may be all that's wrong. My LGT had noise from the fan contacting the plenum so I knew I had a bad bearing but I replaced both of them just in case. It took me about 30 minutes.

Good luck and be safe heading to Seattle.

Default New to Forum - need a 6 speed conversion for 2006 WRX TR

I have a 2006 WRX TR with stage 3 Cobb upgrades and now need a 6 speed conversion kit.

I would like to find a 2006/2007 sti 6 speed with preferably less than 50K on it.

Where is the best place to find good used subi parts in West Michigan?

Thanks

I'd suggest Oak Leaf Auto Salvage

They're not in west MI, but close enough that you could go inspect the pieces.

Again not W MI but y2jimports could likely help you out...they're out if Romeo, MI.

Most of us find stuff here off nasioc or craigslist. I know there are sites where you can buy totaled vehicles but I've not known too many that use them...too I'd assume a Subie with low miles would be a pretty hot commodity...GL!!

I don't recommend Millennium Auto. Over priced parts, terrible service, stole engine from a guy I know (it's a long story, really).

Never wanted to get back to me when i was basically throwing my money in their faces.

I've always had decent experiences there. They definitely don't give anything away...unless you're looking at a lot of items. With a 6MT swap w/ that kinda mileage you're probably right though...with patience I bet you could find one for around 3500 an I bet y2k is 4k all day... The only advantage is that I bet they have one right now...

Oak Leaf has a low mileage 2004 6 Speed that they're selling for 2400. I know you wanted a 06/07, but that's a stupid low price.
