I'd be down for an out door, possibly detail, meet.

POSSIBLY Friday for me but no Thursday. Let me know.

IF anyone is interested in going to Gingerman on 18th and/or 19th, I spoke to my buddy who is the secretary for the North Woods Shelby Club and he says that if you want to get on the track it is possible. You'll have to join the club, pay the registration fee, late fee, and day fee, but you most likely can get on the track with the groups. You'll need to have a Snell approved helmet with a date on it no older than 2010. I don't know what the fees are and you can go to http://www.nwshelbyclub.com/ and find out the costs. I do know that it's only $20 annual membership but don't know the rest.

Please let me know if you are going to go so I can alert him that you are coming. His name is Mark Hasenberg and find me there and we'll go get you set up. I would be there (Gingerman) around 7:30 a.m. on whichever day you want to run so you can get all of the paperwork done and go through tech. I'm registered for both days and plan being there so just look for my car. EVERYONE that runs that day IS REQUIRED to go to the driver's meeting before anyone runs so keep that in mind. It's a formality and you'll have to stay a bit longer than everyone due to the fact that you're a new member but you will be running in Group 4 so you'll have plenty of time to attend and still see most of the other groups on the track before you run. They are about full now but Mark said that it wouldn't be a problem to run if you want to on either day by showing up and paying the appropriate fees.

If you need directions to get there, PM me and I'll tell you how. It's quite easy to get to and just outside of South Haven.

So, does anybody have any ideas for a good place to meet outdoors on Friday? (Possibly a place with access to a hose?)

Weather wise, it's a bit hard to tell. Wunderground.com says 50% chance of thundershowers.

I'd be up for that! My car needs it pretty badly. I'll bring what I can rustle up, and possibly a pizza.

What time are you thinking?

Foos tune today-found a boost leak and also an electrical coil connection problem but after a short pit stop session, pulled 4 WOT runs and everything runs excellently now.

Much thanks to Brent (careercadaver) for hooking me up with Scot for his excellent services.

Yeah we should plan on that in June (which week will you be in town?).

Also, how about a Gallagher's meet this week, say Friday at 7pm?

I have work Friday evening so I won't be able to make it.

I do have a question though. I am going to finally get a downpipe but am having serious trouble deciding between a catless or catted pipe. What's everyone's opinion with 2.5l engine and downpipe?

Catless (IMO). From what I've read catted downpipes are so you can pass emissions. Also if you want a quieter car, you can buy a catted.
I have always had catless. You will have to delete the rear O2 sensor in the programming with an accessport or with open source (its an emissions thing).

BTW, I saw you yesterday turning south onto Drake from Wmain. Car is lookin good!
