I'm pretty free on weekdays, as long as nothing conflicts with classes. My Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are free all afternoon.

Sounds like so far everyone is pretty open on Week Nights for the most part. Perhaps we should make it next Wednesday Oct. 31st, however it is Halloween. Any problems with that or should we do it November 1st on that Thursday afterwards?

I'm not open Wednesday evenings at the moment. Thursday this week I could likely make work.

Thursday this week is pretty bad for me. I've got class 11:30-1:45, and 6:00-9:15PM.

Friday is all clear though.

I know the feeling. I need to to: (In order of priority)
1. Clutch
1.5. Timing Belt
2. Head Gaskets
3. Rear Swaybar

Number 1 and 1.5 especially. That stuff should have been done 5,000 miles ago.

I need to find a place where I can stick the car for a long weekend and have a clean place to yank out the engine and tear it to bits. I also need a torque wrench that isn't a Harbor Freight special. I trust it enough to do some brakework with it, but not far enough for head bolts...

I just have to make sure my car won't explode in the winter, haven't driven it in anything colder than like 60 yet.

Probably best it's sitting in a garage for the time being though.

Sounds like you'd be best off picking up a $1000 Outback Wagon with eleventybillion miles and driving it into the ground.

Why on earth didn't you bring the MX3 to school? Seems like it would make life a lot more tolerable.

It's in rough shape, my sister's been driving it for two years haha. Need i say more?

The RS makes for a nice DD, i'm just overprotective. JDM engines aren't as bad as most people make them out to be if you aren't a moron. It'll get out here eventually. I promise

Sounds like quite a few people have some maintenance to do. I have some troubleshooting of my own as of recently. Threw a P0261 CEL - Fuel Injector Circuit Low #1. So I need to test the resistance with a Multimeter and verify it's not the harness. If harness is fine then I will pull my Injectors and send them to Witch Hunter to have them Cleaned and Tested.

Sounds to me like we should arrange a great big "fix the stuff you've been putting off before winter" party. Tools and experience are sometimes hard to come by. Plus, Extra-S only comes in giant tubs. LOL

Lol. Personally I'm thinking Amsoil Severe Gear all around...

Hopefully I can get the rest of my brake system overhaul over the next week as well...

If you are talking about gear oil I would recommend Subaru Extra-S Or Motul Gear 300 75W90. I run Motul as it can be found Quart sizes and easy to get anywhere online. Also it is superior than the Extra-S if you are doing more than just Daily Driving. Such as AutoX, Track Days, etc...
