Default sti short block for sale

Hi guys, I got a used short block came off of an 04 Forester xt which is the same as 04 sti, just recently the cylinder 3 rod bearing is shot, pistons still looks good and the cylinder wall is still good, looking to get $550 obo

Fxt and Sti are not the same Fxt is an ej255 and Sti is 257. FYI

Oh my bad I was told they are the same, I'm sorry if I am wrong about it, I'm new with the forester and I really don't know that much about it, all I know when I call Subaru and they told me it was the same too, and I got a 2011 sti short block put in my car

FXT and STI can have 255 or 257 depending on the year. The difference is the pistons and the newer 257s have a nitrated crank I believe.

Yea i was told the 04 are the same by the Subaru dealer
