Default GA: 2005 PSM STi *SOLD*

It's time to put my beloved STi up for sale.

Well kept, in great condition aside from a couple of paint blemishes (see pics). Spools like a bat out of hell, handles like nobody's business. Very reliable, never had any major issues at all. No strut clunk (Tokico D-spec rear shocks). Sounds great without being loud. The only reason I'm selling is because I lost my job in May and haven't had a paycheck since, and I'm in the process of getting two companies I just started up and running so I need the cash.

here's some info answering one of the PMs i got earier, hopefully it answers some questions:

I do still have the stock seat, but I've turned it into an office chair that I use on a daily basis. The Recaro is surprisingly comfortable. I'm 5'7" 160 lbs and I can sit in it for hours without a problem. I've done 8 hours in the seat with no issue, so if you're close to my size, it shouldn't be too uncomfortable. Recaros are generally a bit more roomy. If you've ever been in a Bride seat, it's nothing like that at all. I can't sit comfortably in one of those for even a few minutes, let alone hours. However, the seat is hard-mounted to the car without sliders. When I ordered the seat, mounts, base, and sliders, the order was mixed up and the sliders didn't fit with everything else. I modified the mounts (just had to drill an extra pair of holes) and bolted the seat in place exactly where I needed it. So not only is the position fixed, it also transmits a bit more vibrations than you might be used to. The main cause of the vibrations are some bushings in the rear of the car. The bushings are somewhat adjustable in that they are three pieces that can be swapped out for more-or-less stiffness. They are very easy to swap out and take 10 minutes total. The seat is pretty easy to swap out as well.

I still have the stock front bumper beam, and three of the OEM BBS wheels (silver), along with a Ray's 57F wheel (bronze), that I have no need for. I'll throw in all the wheels for free at the asking price of the car. I also have a couple other parts that have yet to be installed (Kartboy rear subframe lock bolts and TiC rear differential mount bushings) that will be included with the car. I think I still have the original stock fuel pump, water pump, oil pump, TGV gears/motors, and maybe a few other things. Most of those came off the car when I did 105k mile major service (I did it at about 95k miles). I did remove the front U-brace, I still have it and it's also included with the car. (I removed it for weight reduction from the front. Along with the lightweight front bumper beam and lighter crank pulley, the weight distribution of the car is much better and the handling is phenomenal.)

i don't have any newer pics. my laptop crashed a week ago with the pics i did have, and my home-built PC doesn't have a card reader. i've got a friend that is supposed to bring a card reader over tomorrow, hopefully she remembers.

the hood has a couple swirls from a sponge that had grit in it. the front passenger door has a scrape in the paint from someone's door, and the rear passenger door has a scrape from someone's bumper. unfortunately, i live in an area with the most inconsiderate people on the planet.

the repairs should be paint only, i don't think any body panels need to be replaced at all. but i'll try to get pics tomorrow or the day after.

took these using my cell phone so they aren't the best quality. please note the car is dirty and needs a bath lol.

hood swirls from a gritty sponge. two spots on the hood: driver's side edge and leading edge.

scrape from someone else's door (not a ding, metal is fine, only paint was scraped)

scrape from someone else's bumper (just paint)

both doors with scrapes. the scrape on the front door is the thumb-sized one, several inches below the door handle. the long scrape is on the rear door just above the crease in the door.

interior shots (carpet is dirty, just needs to be vacuumed)

we've been getting rained on so i had to do a very quick wash, but here are some more pics.

Pics of the scrapes on the passenger side doors:

the swirls in the hood. you can't even see them from some angles and yes, you should be able to have them buffed out.

some more pics of the interior. the ones a few posts above were taken with my cell phone. the pics in this post were taken with a Nikon (default "auto" settings). i did NOT clean the interior whatsoever between taking the first set of pics and this set, and even drove the car each day in between. the interior is about as dirty as it gets, and looks dirtier in the pics than in person (especially the floor mats, which are not brown at all.
