Default 01 Forester to sti conversion?

Hi I am pondering in the future to make my forester into a sti or wrx and get a crashed donor car to swap it. I am debating weather to keep my 4eat subaru and convert it or get a 5mt forester of the same gen and use that to transplant. also can you keep the same axle, hub, brakes and suspension cuz I wanted to put in ksport coil overs and big brakes. I want to do this so my insurance is not crazy and hide in plain sight lol but have it fast.

Good luck finding a clean 5mt forester of any year.

Technically the suspension between the forester, and 02-07 wrx is the "same" with some height variations. If you really want to pursue this, subaruforester.org has all the information you will ever need. Use the search feature there.
