Hello... realized that this forum was lacking some pre-2002 love and the only thing I've been reading up were on problems or issues on our cars.


So... let's have some fun with this one. Would love to see some awesome cars! (Frankly, the newer models don't stand a chance on being the best looking subaru). Also, there are a few people that I always see on this forum. Would love to put the cars to your names.

Feel free to post any updates you make.

Heres my 1995 STi RA. Spun a rod bearing so I fully rebuilt the motor myself. This picture is when I put it back in a couple weeks ago. As of today I'm still buttoning up a couple things before I can start it for the first time!

My 96 V2 STi 555 edition. Pretty much bone stock for the time being. I have some plans for it come next spring.

These are my Two.
Blue one is a 2001 Legacy B4 Tommy Kaira. lots of upgrades. I know its a legacy but in Japan the B4 is a twin turbo and makes around 280hp stock.

Grey one is a 1999 Sti nothing special.

I live in northern japan so it is a little easier for me.

what have you done to your EJ20G? I'm planning on a build myself... trying to decide whether to go 2.5 or stick with the ej20g and stroke it.

Some idiot hit and ran while my car was parked at a parking lot... My hood was crushed (aluminum), bumper had a big gash in it, etc.. it was a pain to find ver 2 parts so I just went with ver 4 parts.

onurba32 what kind of power are you making with the gt28? I've been looking into the 28 or 3071 for the future.

I assume this is Crank HP? My jaw dropped when i read 425hp on a gt28. When do you hit full boost? and 1.5 bar? if my math is correct its just shy of 22psi? thats hittin it hard.

I might have over looked it but, what are you using for EM and air meter?

I bet that wagon is so much fun to drive.

Rotated inlet manifold, with custom piping, cold side BOV and weld in boss for the ECU's air tamperature sender.
3" rotated exhaust with sports cat downpipe.
K&N Air filter
Syvecs S6PnP standalone ECU with ALS/LC/FS,speed density based on a 3 bar Apexi MAP sensor (same as the AVC-R sensor, with custom wiring loom so 1 sensor can feed both the ECU and the boost controller)
AVC-R boost controller.
Walbro in-tank
Bosch 044 external pump with fuel swirl pot.
Braided teflon lines throughout
Custom coolant header tank
Custom washer fluid tank with meth tank build in. (the tank looks like a normal tank, but under the cap there are 2 filling holes, holds a quart of washer fluid, and almost a gallon of meth)As I only am going torun meth on a dedicated mapping that should be enough.

With non reversed manifold and old turbo, was going to run a 18G sized stock location turbo first, but changed my mind again.
Also a different fuals etup on the engine at the time.


Clutch
No actual pictures, just a web pic.

Clutch should be wll up to the job (rated at 550bhp/650nm torque) but supposedly still has a very light pedal feel, and progressive action.
