PFR in Merritt Oct 12-13 2012
Volunteers get the most action. The chance to meet the Rally teams. The rally teams love volunteers ![]() You also get the best vantage points at the event. You might get a little Dirty, but hey it's rally, that's what we are all about right? They help with hotel rooms. So you can shower and look all spiffy for the awards/ volunteer appreciation dinner. and mmmm brown bag lunch delivered rally style to the middle of nowhere. Rallybc.com See you in the dirt ![]() Liz

Block is not on the entry list yet... but it is listed in his event calender on his website... His event calender says it's sept 30 - oct 1. Sounds like it hasn't been updated in a while.
in case anybody was wondering who will be there: http://www.pacificforestrally.com/ar..._EntryList.htm Either way, I will be there. ![]() |

PFR should be very interesting. If Pat can overcome the mechanical issues they have been having and run a clean event, I think block will have to push pretty hard to stretch the kind of gaps he has been lately against Pat on his "home" stages. I will be there hopefully helping the CRC tv crews again! Best spots of the rally!

I'll be there volunteering both days. Last year was awesome. Got some great vantage points while doing road blocks along the stages.
Can't wait! |

Going on Friday with a friend to spectate and shoot photos. The PFR site only has last year's guide on so I'll be going by that to get to the stages. Anyone else have any good directions to get there to watch?

I am sure they will have updated info soon.
Spectator guides will also be available in the service park ![]() Ohh the service park, where half the action takes place I am excited! Real cars, real roads, real fast! |

I might head up Friday night or early Saturday morning depending on accomodation and when I can escape from work.

I am heading up tomorrow morning or afternoon depending on if my buddy is coming... wondering if it is worth while putting on the snows... I'm guessing not needed as it was 20 degrees there yesterday...

I threw on the winters and fired up the impact gun to get into the rally spirit tonight. The 15's do better in gravel than the summers anyway!
Sipping cold beer and wiring in my ham radio in the dark. Ahh good times. Jeep staying home and rocking the WRX. Heading up Friday eve. Rally on. |

Almost half of the cars are out of the race for the night.
Good luck to the service crews...it's going to be a long night. |
