Default 2.5i muffler delete

Ok so I just wanted to put it out there that if you do the muffler delete your gas mileage will go down. I've had my mufflers back on for a few weeks now and this last tank of gas I saw a huge improvement on my gas mileage.

Just had a Borla cat back exhaust installed and a k&n cold air intake and my mileage is about 3miles per gallon to the positive.
Any input on a gf chip install ? Yes or no ?

Cold air intake is bad for your car unless you had it tuned for it. Im not sure what chip your talking about but 99% of the internet chips are complete BS. If the site claims huge power increases and mpg jumps for $39.99 and only takes a few wires tapped into your wiring harness its a scam and most likely will hurt your car. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

+1. The stock intake on our cars is good enough. But if you get a CAI or an SRI you need to make sure you get a tune immediately. And don't waste money on those chips.. Get a good tune instead.

More noise -> less throttle -> less gas used.
