Its finally home.
The dealer lost one fob/key and the valet key (funny thing is I used that pair to test drive it two weeks ago, they couldn't find the single fob/key I have in my pocket now when I was there to test drive), they think they'll find them tomorrow when shuffling the cars around the lot before/after the snow storm or they'll cut a new set and reprogram the car. The dealer was able to get a rate 0.75% lower than I was offered from the same credit union where I went loan shopping last week.

There are two rubber plugs in a baggie I found in the glove box, the pictogram and instructions seem to say they should be installed on the bottom of the body, directly in front of the rear wheels, but I can't find any voids?

During the entire deal another couple was eying my car, the wife really wanted the dark grey and the husband wanted the roof rack but the dealer did not have any other dark grey sports on the lot so they were stuck deciding between a red sport or a grey premium.

I found those too in my glovebox. I think they're for temporary purposes, but not sure. It seems that where it says they should go there is already something more permanent.

So where are the photos?! I just got the Sport Premium CVT in DGM two weeks ago. Couldn't be happier. I was really contemplating going with the Satin White Pearl, but that doesn't come with the dark interior. I'll post some photos soon once the rain breaks for more than a few days here in NorCal.

Hello everyone.

I picked up my '13 dgm sport couple weeks ago. Just took off the front advertisement plate a couple days ago and the dealership used wood screws to drill holes into my bumper. I noticed some people on here have a front license plate bracket. Do you have to order one? Or is it a dealer option? There are two holes below the two they drilled that look like its meant for a bracket. I want to go to the dealer and make them put a new bumper on. Just seeing if I could get more info. I'll post a picture of the situation if needed.

Front license plate holder for impreza
part number: DCOLICBRKIMP12

you can order it, then just screw it into where they had used wood screws, should be fine.
this is for a 2.0i just to confirm

Mine doesn't have a bracket, just two plastic inserts in the bumper that the screws thread into.

I have a month old 2013 Impreza Sport Limited. My dealer gives a 150k powertrain warranty so long as I do all my scheduled maintenance with them. They also give free tires (I can pay difference to upgrade) and batteries if I do maintenance. With this do you think aftermarket warranty would add anything?

most consumers opt to grab the car on the lot instead of ordering it because they are unaware that they can order the car or just don't want to wait. If you are getting a wrx or sti you really want that car so you sit and wait and post many threads about it. There are more subaru fanatics here rather than regular users so that also explains the disparity.

I'd suspect most folks want that instant gratification from haggling a good deal and then driving the new car off the lot. Waiting for them is very anticlimactic. I'm actually quite glad I bought mine off the lot. Got the 17" alloys and the moonroof, which I likely wouldn't have gotten if I had ordered the car. I like the look of the alloys and the moonroof is quite nice when the weather is much better than it is now. So in the end it was a good thing for me.

Has anyone opted to lease the impreza? I think it's the option i'll end up going with, but i'm hoping i can order a car and do a lease option.

Too bad the USDM Satin White Pearl doesn't come with a dark interior. I recently got a 2013 Limited CVT in Satin White Pearl with black leather interior. It also had an option for ivory leather interior, but I chose otherwise. I'll post some pics when I get the chance.

I was lucky and didn't have to order my Impreza. My dealership was able to grab one off the docks before it was to be sent somewhere else.
