The Plasti-Dip is dyed "sky blue."

In our shop

Kinda dirty in this picture..

One more in the parking lot outside our shop

Dipped my wagon for the winter after getting a bunch of paint work done this summer. It's holding up very well! I'm going to try the clear coat spray to see if I can't get a bit more shine out of the dip

If you're around VT, a friend of mine runs "Rubber-Wrap" and does a great job on every car he touches! http://www.rubber-wrap.com/

It will peel off, I dipped my green MINI Cooper S in white PD and it peeled off. Just remember, that it takes a couple more layers of white to cover than it would with black PD. Make sure you take your time, mistakes show more with white PD then they do with black PD.

You can see the difference with the door.

After I peeled the PD off, picture was taken 12 Jan 2013.

Plast dip is not paint. It is not permanent. It will peel off and that is what makes it so great. PLUS it is durable. Have you looked though the thread? I posted a lot of helpful links that will answer any question you may have.

I know, I've looked through this thread, and I've used it before. I currently have it on my bumper around the plate, and used it on my last car for the inside of the front bumper and on some switches.
I know it does come off, it just makes me nervous that something will happen or go wrong and will mess SOMETHING up.
Not really sure haha.

I saw that, I'll have to dig through this thread when I have time to find pictures of the clear coat applied. I'm really curious as the cost of paint is what is stopping me from doing the sedan widebody rear-end conversion on my wagon

I had the same concern, but you have nothing to worry about! I put down a good layer of wax before dipping the car, as recommended by my friend at rubber-wrap.com who dips cars all the time. I've helped him peel his CC a few times, each time I've been amazed by how easily the dip comes off and how fresh the paint looks underneath!

Okay on the bigeyes the black housing around the fog lights go about an inch past the fog light. So I plasti dipped all the inside of the fog light housing and brought the black up to the very edge. Just a subtle difference. I figured more black would look better with the mesh grills.

Some random shots of my 04 JBP wagon with 2.5rs wheels dipped with the Camo Green. I couldn't find any pics of any black cars with the camo green plastidip so I just went for it and love how it turned out. Pictures do not do it justice, all pics taken from my samsung gs3 and I don't think it was able to capture the color very well but I figured I'd post them in case anybody else is wondering how the camo green looks against a black car. The pictures make it look almost gun metal but it's much more of a military green.

Where do you live? In the US they are only 6 bucks a can at your local hardware.

Listen bro, idc how good you are with PD. When you cake PD on like that, it does NOT come out that smooth. Don't believe me? The next time your PD'ing, spray one heavy coat. It is NOT going to come out with that smooth texture like his did.

Granted, there was some obvious editing in this film. So they could have done what I do to get a smooth finish with plastidip.

In the end, it was just my 0.02. No need to call bs on that.
