Besides the house key, those are pretty crappy. lol

They recommend making homemade dolls? but dont mention door knobs or floor mats or anything useful that i just thought of now. lol

Dipping my wheels bronze soon, not sure to go with copper over black or gold over black. opinions? ...right now im probably going with copper.

Thought I'd share what the gold metalizer looks like. In the sun it looks great. Not so much on a gloomy day, it's more like bronze. The biggest problem I have is keeping these clean. The sticky/rubbery surface attracts dirt and grime like no other.

How many coats is this? Looks dark. More pics?

Im looking for bronze and am torn between trying gold or copper dip. My wheels are already dipped black as the base color.

Excuse how dirty my car is..
I only used 1 can of gold between all 4 wheels. Was going for a darker look. I've already peeled it off since this picture, decided that black wheels are more to my taste.

This is a better pic. Looks good. So 1 can you were able to do all 4 like this? Good info.

Thats the best thing about plastidip, just peel it right off.

I just used plastidip on my Thule Wind Fairing because it was looking like hell. I put a coat of wax on the outter plastic to make it look black again and did plastidip on the glossy center part.. I finished it with a coat of glossy clear coat I had lying around to make it shine a bit more and so stickers stay on.

What are the toothpicks for?

^^ I might do that before i decide. I want some rims because i know that will really set it off but as a college student, i need the money to really pay the monthly tuition.

The car is just really really silver. everywhere.

i plastidipped my wheels back in fall and they survived everything from pressure washing to mud and etc. this was just 4 coats of dip as well, not clear coated or anything. Then came time to swap winter tires on, and when you pull rubber tires off rubber paint, it started to peel. other than that they've held up great

^^ i thought about that but see my rims? they already have some stuff on it. I really prefer not to dip them. I shall do my roof and maybe make a front lip?

Did you plasti dip it black first? Or just straight up gold metalizer?
