Default Painted OEM Rear Diffuser

Alright, I have an 05 Aspen White STi. I recently installed the 06-07 OEM STi rear diffuser.

I like the look but being black, its hard to see under the car. I was thinking of painting it white. I know it's going to get dirty, so we can avoid those comments.

IF you were to paint it white, would you:

A: Paint the base AND fins white.
B: Paint the base white, leave fins black.
C: Paint the fins white, leave base black

.

Well you can always plasti dip it white and see how you like it. If you end up hating it just peel it off

Yea, I may go the P-D route, just wondering what other think would look the best if I did go white with it. Thanks!

Second the plastidip test. I honestly do not think it will look good painted any color. At least that way it's easy to return to OEM black. Just paint the whole thing white, you will know if you like it enough from there. Those other combos will look like azz.

I didn't really wait for much input.

it's plasti-dipped so I can peel off if i want. Yes it's going to get dirty, yes I will probably go back to the way it was. I was dissapointed when I installed it and could barely see it though.

what do you think?

I'm sure it will have mixed reviews. I'm still up in the air about it. I'm assuming its going to get filthy, and the white will start to come off, for now I'll leave it, as I don't feel like taking it off again. But eventually it will go back to how it was i'm sure.

Hmm, better than I though it would look. Almost makes it look like part of the bumper cover.

Diffusers should never be painted. They should be left black/carbon. Doing otherwise opens the doorway to rice.

That said, you post way too much. Just saying.

Actually doesn't look too bad. It matches the white tow hook. The only thing is, you have a lot of black accents. If it was me, I would have kept it black.

Yea, it will go back eventually, this was really just a trial and error thing. The car used to have no black accents, but I bought it with a cf hood, so I started accenting things black- exhaust shield, wheels, roof, wing top, license plate surround.

Yes! I like it. Great looking car dude. How did you put the tint just over the clear part of your tail lights? I want to do the same thing but I am not sure what the best/easiest way is.
