We did a seymour run last night. It had been snowing like mad all day, 5 minutes up the road and people were turning around.

It was mayhem, cars in the ditch, people not able to climb the hill... Was stuck behind a jeep most of the ways who eventually got stuck at the entrance to the lot, was about 1-2 feet in the unplowed area. After waiting a couple mins I just went around him haha would have liked to see the look on his face.

Was super fun, will be doing it again soon!

On the other hand, Richmond never plows its roads. So when there is snow in Richmond (and it's usually on the west side & rural areas that get the most accumulation), the roads are a ****ing mess.

Mind you, I got around with my '01 Integra well enough. Now that it's resting in pieces (I miss that car ), I can't wait to see how my Impreza will perform.

It's that from this morning? Looks pretty good. There's a snowfall warning in effect for tonight though... 10-15 cm of snow at higher elevations I think...

My boss actually had to turn around (she got stuck heading toward the Alex Fraser) and decided to work from home today. 2 hour traffic jam FTW!

I commuted from Surrey to Pitt Meadows

Oh my god people can't drive
I was fine in the snow
The weather conditions didn't bother me at all
It was the people that pissed me off.

Yes... Just sit on my bumper on a red light on an uphill facing 176 and 84th... That's right.. Im definitly not going to roll back at all on an icy, snowy hill with my 6spd car.. Yeah that's right... Right there... Just plant your car right up against my bumper on a hill....

SERIOUSLY

Drivers are horrible. It gets better. Blacked out Dodge Ram diesel with an 18 wheeler exhaust coming out of the bed of his truck drifts a corner, loses control and smokes two cars with his tailgate, busts a u turn and leaves the scene of an accident. No one got a plate..

Sure, but how many redneck trucks like that are there? I'm sure somebody will see that truck again...

People suck, that's all. And I think you should put a very bright light in your rear window, so you can flash people behind you if they get too close. Or, just get out and yell at them in Polish.
