I'm kind of nervous. The fact it went from 11000 Wednesday morning to 18000 today. That's a big jump. Good thing it's for a good cause.

I said the same thing earlier. Think of all that food though. I know the local food banks have had trouble keeping their shelves stocked. This is going to help a large amount of families, that in its own is amazing especially right in time for the holidays when people seem to be struggling the most.

Default And The Winner Is....

And the winning team for the 4th Annual Food Drive is.......

Team Evo with an incredible 10,783 lbs! This is the first time Team Evo will hold the position of honor on our perpetual plaque and we are excited about seeing a new team work so hard to win! With the combined cash and food donations, we raised 18,909 lbs of food for the VOA Food Bank. This crushed our biggest year which was 4,000 lbs! This is an amazing accomplishment and we really thank everyone who participated. Congrats team Evo and we will keep you posted as to when we will have the celebratory BBQ.

Wow. Congrats to Team Evo. I'm sure a lot of families are going to be happy next week for Thanksgiving. Thanks to VTR for doing this every year.

I'm a little disappointed in the Renton meet group. Not saying at all we would have won, but the largest meet group out there and as a group in general you didn't donate ANYTHING.

yeah, team Evo did awesome and there's gonna be a lot of thankful families because of this food drive.

this is definitely good PR for the car enthusiast crowd.

as for the renton crowd, there's always next year for ya'll to redeem yourselves. doesn't take much, just put away a couple of bucks a week.

But that couple of bucks could be going towards some stretched tires, and a new flatbill.

sorry to see we lost out to Evo in the final tallies, but good lord that is a ton of food...or rather 9 tons of food, going to people who need it the most. kudos to everyone who donated, and VTR for organizing the food drive.

A big thanks to Tyler Bond for thinking outside the box and working to secure a corporate sponsor of 3 pallets of soup which totaled 6,000 lbs. Way to set the bar!
