I remember eating that *****ty "adobo" on the carrier. Brings chills to my spine man. Do you know how to make it? I can also make a pretty mean bowl of cereal.

For those making the cruise in November I chose California Dreaming as a spot to have lunch at. Someone in the Charleston forum suggested it and also mentioned that they have some decent parking there.

Link with restaurant info: http://californiadreaming.co/locatio...outh-carolina/

It is a hour and a half drive from the Chick Fil A in Beaufort according to Google maps. It is also on the bay. How do you guys feel about it?

I need a hand installing some rear diff support bushing from Perrin. I tried doing it myself a couple if weeks ago but that didn't work out so well. Anyone have a stud puller or have experience installing these bushings?

I dont know how to respond to that. The Evo isn't for me man. Great car but it didn't attract me like the STI did. But I did find this to help me:

Going to do it this weekend! And next week I will be checking my oil pickup to see if it is cracked.

I don't know if my pickup is cracked. I just read some interesting things about the oil pickup on our cars and thought I would take a look myself. I am going to buy a Killer B pickup regardless of how my current pickup is and throw it on there for good measure. They say there no ways to tell that your pickup is cracked until AFTER your motor is starved of oil. That sucks!

How is the lodge bro? Your outta there next week right? If you need to man, send more boxes to my place to lighten your load.

So my car was dented a few days ago and it's gonna be in the shop this week to get it fixed. I should still be able to make the cruise but its never certain, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Welcome to the Subie community. Nice to have you here.

You have an RB swap huh? Sounds pretty mean! What year is your STI?

its an 2010 blue hatch with the gold bbs wheels. looks like who ever the original owner was didnt really do his research with this car because i took it to subaru to have them check it out and apparently im thinking he probably had a cobb AP on it and messed it up. there are replacing the ecu and the turbo as we speak. i spoke to the mechanic who was working on the car really nice guy and is the head mechanic at the subaru dealership his name is hugo. but he said its is still a very good car and to keep my head up basically. anyways, i knew it had an spt intake and an agency power turbo back exhaust on it. and was worried the owner might have messed something up and sure enough he had. anyways its all getting sorted out, and god willing i will be at chick fil-a on saturday, i guess if i dont have it in by then i could alawys drive the 240 as long as i dont get flamed, lol

and as for the 240 its a blast to drive, however the rings in cylinder 2 are shot so she burns oil and has some power loss but is still pretty damn reliable. other than smoking like a train in the upper rpm's. havent wanted to do the rebuild yet so im putting it off. but she is still pretty quick. she holds her own with 350's which isnt saying alot but for having a loss of compression she is still fun as hell to drive.

Bring the 240 if you want to man. No worries there. We have someone possibly bringing a GT-R so don't worry about that. Haha, she a smoker huh? Did you do the swap yourself? I have never pulled a motor but I would like to do it sometime just for the experience.

That blows about the Scoob man, I would be pretty upset. When is it supposed to be back on the road? Was the ECU bricked? Turbo not making boost like it should? I wish you luck on getting her running again.

What dealership do you go to? They seem pretty cool.
