Default New guy, looking for old owner

Hey peeps, I have been lurking here and there on this forum for awhile now. I recently bought a BLUE 2011 STI in San Antonio with 12,000 miles on it.
I got it from San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep.

The car has an Invidia exhaust (TBE), cobb pulley, cobb intake.
It did not come with an AP (of course) but I did see the booklet from it in the trunk, lol.

Now by chance does anyone know or maybe is the old owner of this car?

I just wanna see if he/she had it protuned...or used the OTS map on it and if they flashed it back to stock before they sold it.

Thanks a ton!

Worth a trip up to COBB in Austin. From the mods listed it looks like they used them for there vendor. They could probably hook up to it and tell you if it has anything on it.

Does Cobb of Austin do tunes? I live in Houston mostly, but am in Austin every other week.

Call them, give them the VIN and they can tell you if they did anything to the car. It wouldn't pull up a OTS map but you would know if they Tuned it ever.

It would have to be taken in the verify that the tune was still on it or not.

It would be important to know if its still flashed stage 2 and not back to stock. Especially if it doesn't have the stock downpipe.

Cobb is tied in with MZM performance on Howard off i35 in Austin... was just at MZM today to price having my car pro-tuned and some guys from Cobb were there ... if your parts are Cobb parts then theres a good chance MZM had there hands in your car as well... I would check with them ... they seem real legit and good peoples ... they def know there stuff from what i gathered ... they are very straight forward as well

COBB Austin currently only does internal R&D, not customer installs or tuning. They also suggest MZM for local work since they are close. MZM is in the COBB professional tuning network, but they aren't associated with each other beyond that.

If the car has a TBE and you don't know if it has a tune, don't drive it hard.

the drives fine as far as I am aware of. Feels pretty deng quick ( i used to have a stage 2 Evo X) and it seems its about the same. when I switch it to S# you can tell the difference.

No boost gauge.

Im pretty sure the stage 2 map is on it...but I wanna make sure, and see if it was protuned... or not.

Only the person who last had the accessport can confirm what map was loaded on the car. COBB can only tell you if they did or did not protune the car.
