Default Winter tires

What's everyone's favorite winter tire? The RE92's were less than spectacular last year and they're pretty much worn out now so I'm going for a set of dedicated winter tires and I'll buy a summer wheel/tire setup next year.
I've used Blizzaks on my previous car and they were great in snow but kind of squirmy on dry pavement.

Thanks!
Jerome

I'll be rollin on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S this winter. They cost a pretty penny, but they're supposed to be the bomb.

I also ran the Dunlop WinterSport M2's last winter, they were awesome. They're also excellent on dry pavement... well, compared to the RE92s anyway, and I don't really have much else to compare them with.

I have been rolling on 205/55/16 M2s. These tires are great on dry and wet - far better then the 92s. Addtionally, on ice and hardpack snow it it is much easier to recover from under/oversteer with these tires. After 15k+ miles of driving they still have a good bit of tread left and will be used again this season.

Remeber though these are not going to do as well in ice as something studded. They will also not do as well in snow as something like a haka 1. However the M2s will be mich better on dry roads.
