I thought the same thing and even said it in an email to Eric. He responded with:

"I made several adjustments to the map. Lets do the same logs as before. You do not need to let the ecu learn you can do the logs right away.

Not saying you are wrong, as I generally let the car learn the map, but Eric has no problem with logging immediately after flashing.

No.

The ECU learns better/more aggressively if you drive the car fairly hard for the learning period.

I'm currently running a TP Stage 2 map - love it. And Eric is very responsive when I had questions after the install. His customer service level is awesome.

Also, for those saying spending $500 on an AP is a waste fail to realize that the pricing is not just for the OTS maps from Cobb but for all of the features that comes with the AP.

Exactly what you said, I love my AP because of all the extras. Got a killer price on it so it's even better! What year are you running the TP Stage 2 map on? I'm thinking about investing in it for my 2012 WRX.

I agree with the above. I would have bought the AP even if I went straight to using the TP tune.

Found the first negative of the tp tune.... I keep going wot and wasting gas.

Love this tune, such a huge difference over Cobb.
