Default Whirlpool washer / electric dryer set, wood entertainment center - Norfolk

I'm going to throw these on Craigslist, but I figured I'd put them here, too, just to maximize exposure.

Whirlpool 5600 series washer (WTW5600SQ0) and electric dryer (WED5600SQ0). I bought the set new in late 2006 and used them through to the end of 2007 while I was stationed in Newport, RI. I then transferred to WA, where I rented a house that had a washer & dryer, so these sat in the garage. Then I transferred to DC, where I rented a townhouse that had a washer & dryer, so these sat in the garage. Then I transferred to Norfolk, where I rented a house that had a washer & dryer - are you seeing a trend here? I'll be here in Norfolk for at least 2 or 3 years, and I just figure there's no point in continuing to have this set taking up space when someone else could get use out of them.

The set is in excellent condition, basically not a mark on them. I'm a single guy, so I don't generate a ton of laundry - generally 1 load of whites and 1 load of darks per week, for a year of use. For a family of 4 that's probably only a few months worth of use, so these have years of life left in them.

$350 for the pair, picked up in Norfolk (a little west of the Little Creek base). Buyer has to provide the means to move the set, as I don't have a vehicle big enough to carry them. I'll help you load them (I've got a buddy's hand truck), but after that you're on your own.

Default And now for the entertainment center

I've had this baby a loooong time - bought it when I got my first apartment after college in '95. This was in use until I finally bought a big-ass flat screen in 2009.

It's very stout (oak, I think?), and pretty damn hefty. Overall dimensions are 17" deep x 52" high x 48" wide. The opening for the TV is roughly a 26.5" square - I had a conventional Sony 27" TV in there for years. Glass door covers the three shelves on the left side. The tall, narrow door on the bottom has a couple of pull-out racks behind it for VHSs or CD/DVDs. The other two lower doors are just open space, no shelves in those lower compartments. As you can see, the thin particle board on the back has been cut over the years to facilitate cord routing.

On Craigslist I intend to list this for $50 or something like that. NASIOC special - the entertainment center is FREE! Just come and get it. As with the washer/dryer, you'll need to provide the transportation, and I can help you load it. Definitely a two man lift.

Washer and dryer are spoken for, should be picked up this evening. Entertainment center is still available and still free.
