Default How much $$ for used '04 STi Block & Heads

Anyone know what would be the going rate for just an OE STi 2.5L block and heads.

They both definitely need new internals and machining.

Also, what would it be for the OE turbo system minus the intake manifold (intercooler, piping, turbo, etc.)

Reason why I ask, is my buddy is thinking about getting rid of his and I would like to see what a fair offer would be. I did a search and a few posts came up about selling, but the prices were not available due to the items being sold.

Just asking for an approximate dollar amount that would be a fair price to offer my friend.

EDIT: Oh, and for those that actually want some enjoyment out of this thread... Cylinder #2 on this block had a piston that was machined as facing the wrong way (rotated 180 degrees), leaving some obvious scoring on the lower cylinder sleeve, as well as creating very weak bearings and crankshaft play (rubbing on the block where it normally doesn't rub).

The other option (down the road) would be to just get an OE block all ready to go, but depending on the price of this, machining might be an option.
