TPMS - New or Transfer existing?

I'm considering buying at least new tires when my WRX shows up but my question is about the TPMS. Can I reuse the existing ones or should I buy a new set? Possibly new wheels at the same time. It snows/ices around here during the winter and the Dunlop's will not cut it.

I'll get it done at the Subaru dealer in town because I don't trust anyone else around here.
