So i keep hearing a loud vacuum leak sound right in front of me while im driving and its making me go crazy

Checked brake booster hose and also the intake manifold an intercooler y-pipe elbows but those are hard to get to in order to check if they're leaking while the car is running..

Any suggestions on what it may be around the driver side firewall man area?

Im going to guess you are leaking at the bpv still. Also sometimes where you hear the leak is very far from where it really is.
I would also check the compressor to tmic y pipe connection.

Did the boost gauge line get cut when running ir through the firewall? The only other things over in that area is the tmic elbow, brake-vac line. When you charge the system are you hearing anything in that area?

You cannot run the stock bpv as a vta, it leaks @ idle

Crushing it should not make a difference and is a common mod. But you must run the hose that goes back to the inlet.

So you're saying it will leak at idle regardless?

I think what he was saying is that it will leak back into the intake track.

Haha thanks man. Ive heard that crushing it helps but oh well. AND i found out that the little vacuum line connector on the compressor of the turbo was clogged so bad it wasnt letting air pass
