Default EJ253 valve adjustment??

My valves in my 05 rs are "clacking" and I'm curious as to know wether or not the valves are adjustable and what the adjustments are that can be made to stop them from "clacking".
Thanks

They are adjustable via an adjusting screw and jamb nut. You can check clearance and adjust with the valve covers off.

search on valve lash. cylinder needs to be at (or near) TDC to get accurate readings.
