I'm sure most of you have noticed that if you have too much bass or treble and you try and adjust it while moving, it won't let you. I'm hoping someone has found the fix for this, whether its sniping a wire, or some kinda of ecu mod.

I listen to downloaded songs on my phone, and not all of them downloaded the same, so 1 song will have heavy bass, and the next will will weak bass.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not adjusting my stereo for every song. But I don't want subaru telling me I can't be trusted to walk and chew gum.

It has been a while since I installed the head-unit you have, but I believe it was pin 19 that I had David leave off of the wiring harness when I bought the breakout harness from him (to go from the base Subaru head-unit to your version).

Note: you will lose the speed compensated volume feature, but gain the ability to adjust bass/treble etc.

I would email him to verify.

That "feature" is right up there with not being allowed to press a preset button to dial a number while the car is moving but I can speak a phone number and have it dialed.
