Default 12 Volt Cigarette Port

If it has been written up before I am sorry. I was not able to locate it.

I have an 05 WRX Wagon and was pulling part the rear right interior out and noticed a wiring harness that was not connected to anything. I was wondering if that is for an additional voltage port (like a cigarette lighter).

If it is, has anyone done this it and is there a write up on it?

Thank you again,
Todd

wouldn't be surprised if it was for a 12v port. The forester has a port back there, so that would make sense.

Also wouldn't be surprised if the Impreza outbacks have one back there.

I stumbled across this while doing some wiring in my 02 WRX. In the Wiring Manual it is called the Rear Accessory Power System. It isn't connected in the Sedan (missing the relay and harness you speak of). In the wagon, the harness looks like it connects to rear Rear combination light RH and has two plugs on the other end. One for the 12v Plug and one for the luggage Room Light
