Default Anyone in Austin with a New 2013 WRX?

Hey all, I am thinking of picking up a 2013 WRX as I cannot justify the price on the 2013 STi to replace my 2005 STi.

If anyone has one, I would love to check it out!

Why would you go from a 05 sti to a 13 wrx?

Its going to be a hard decision. I just want something with a warranty and something new.
While I could make the payments on a 2013 STi, I do not want a $700 car payment and its proving hard to find a decent used 2010 + Sti for a decent amount.
Its not set in stone, but im considering it.

As a daily driver, its not that big of a difference. The price difference on a new STi vs a WRX is like $12k. Thats enough to upgrade the hell out of a WRX if I really wanted too anyways....

Still have to sell my 2005 anyways. Although its certainly going to be hard to part with for a WRX.

I also debated wrx/sti as well. The sti is no doubt the better car, it's just not 10k better than the wrx. There is also a significant difference in insurance rates between them. I wound up going with the wrx and I don't regret it.

This plan has potential flaws...

Doesnt make more sense for yourself to get a new 2013 wrx and DD while having a Warranty, and whatever you save, upgrade the crap out of that 2005 sti.

I mean its a 2005 STI !!!!!!!! Common !!!!!! I couldnt even get my hand on a non-molest 04-06 STI.

Just Saying

My 2005 STi is 100% stock, and always has been. I mean thats true, I could do that, but I still have a $300 car payment on my 2005, and I got a $500 on the new STi. And its more practical. So well see.
