Default 08+ oem roof rack mount points - How can i protect my wrap/car? any ideas?

So i am in a bit if a strange position, my entire car is wrapped.

the mount locations where the factory roof racks sit has very firm rubber that sits on the mount location and just from test fitting one of the feet there is already a obvious indentation.

does anyone have an idea of what could be done to prevent this?

i feel like laying down some extra vinyl wont really do much as its so thin, i also considered some sort of foam (but that too seems like it wont do much)

i would appreciate any ideas you may have!

thanks

i'll post a photo shortly to explain what im talking about

Do 2 more layers of vinyl.
3m 1080 is 3.5 mil thick without the adhesive or backing and clear bra is 8 mil thick i believe, so layering it twice will essentially give you the protection a clear bra would have. My buddy put some clear bra on his so that his racks wouldn't scratch his car. Works great. If it screws up a layer over time simply peel off and replace with a new layer

Just use a clear bra. Should be fine.

I used clear bra. It works perfectly even though my rack now stays up all year round.

Call me cheap but i just used some eletrical tape and wrapped it around the bases of my oem rack and it works great. Not sure if it would work as well on rubber but just thought Id share my idea.
