To wing or not to wing??? I have a 2011 wrx wingless and I am trading for a winged trunk. I like the winged look but I'm not sure if winged is better than my wingless! Any opinions?

Your are going to get a ridiculous amount of opinions. Your own opinion is the one that matters because it is your car.

Isn't that why the 11' WRX comes stock with a rear lip spoiler?

No spoiler - no function other than police magnet.

11+ WRX sedans should be wingless. no offense to the winged, still looks a-ok in that flavor.

Then do whatever the hell you want, your car not the internets. You won't gain any noticeable amount of any force to make a damn difference.

Get what you want. Problem solved. It's a cosmetic thing, you like it or you don't. If you're that hard pressed just flip a coin.

You want downforce? More downforce than anything else you can buy in the US. Ironically, no wing.

It's a functional wing, but if you're a fan of the wingless look, go for it.

Personally, if I had an STi sedan I'd have a wing but that's just e.

Functional at 90 mph - no need for DD.

For the record, we are on a forum for sports car enthusiasts. It's not like nobody on this forum has ever hit 90...

Entirely functional and looks fine on the car. It's not some 3 wing riced out wing. It's a nice looking OEM wing. Kind of big? Yeah. But still nice looking.

IMO, and this is purely my opinion I know, the sedans almost look incomplete without the wing back there.

This kid was doing speeds at which the spoiler would've been helpful. Didn't help all too much around that turn.
