Default First off Hi everybody

I am currently the owner of a 2011 Subaru impreza outback sport and am thinking about doing some upgrades to my car. However I know what upgrades there are to be done but my question comes down to what should I do first? And a turbo is not on the books at the moment. Any and all suggestions would be helpful thank you. And multiple choices would be great as well

Well hey there. What kind of upgrades are you looking for? Performance wise, rally wise? Ever think of trading in for a WRX or STI?

Welcome! I'd love to see pictures of your car. Read Unibomber's Manifesto. I'm not sure what you can do with the Outback, it's naturally aspirated if I'm right. N/A engines take some work to take a turbo. It's not as simple as just dropping one in :P. I'd try looking for some Cat-Back exhausts that fit your car! ( Don't think there are any )

This is what RallySport Direct has for your car in terms of parts :

I'm looking for Performance. And I would rather stay with a N/A engine but make it have some power if at all possible. And i would trade up but I cant afford a wrx or an sti

Welcome!

Make sure you think about what you want out of your Subie before you buy...measure twice, cut once. Research everything you are interested in and then make an attack plan. Look at other members rides to see what you like and don't like.

Good luck with your new money pit!!

<< And fill out your profile...It will help out a lot.

swaybars and endlinks will do wonders for your car.

Well, you're kind of hosed on power. There's really NOTHING you can add to it to make have more power, sorry. I suppose you could drop thousands and build it, but it'd be cheaper to trade for a wrx or sti at that point. This is definitely a "you got what you got".

Intake = nope, the factory one is pretty good
Tune = Nope, nothing really left on the plate as is
Nitrous = not a good idea

What you can do is greatly improve handling. The suspension is a marshmallow on that thing.

If I had a naturally aspirated car I would put all my money into handling, or just drive my stock car on the track/auto-x course.

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
Hankook Ventus RS-3
Kumho Ecsta XS
Federal 595 RS-R
Hakook Ventus V12 evo K110 (a little less hardcore, much more livable with OK grip)
