Thumbs up Thanks to GoodSpeed

So many of you know how my WRX rebuild went... basically anything that could have gone wrong did, i pulled the motor and trans more than needed. However i did learn a lot about this car and now have a new appreciation for it.

So on to GoodSpeed:
after trying to diagnose why my engine was dumping oil on the floor several times with no success, i used one of my AAA towings to their shop. I had previously spoken to Joe and Mason on the phone and even sent them a video via email of the massive oil leak, they tried to diagnose the issue prior to me bringing the car down... they narrowed it down to a few things, and told me to try them out myself, however with school back in session and my frustration i opted to just have them fix it.

They were fast and efficient in getting the oil problem solved. Joe personally called me every step of the way with an update and with suggestions for some things i had installed funky. i couldnt help but laugh at some of the things i had done, (noooooob). When i went to pick up the car, we talked tuning and i decided to go ahead and get the COBB AP and get a basic/break in road tune to get things going, Clark and Joe did a great job on the tune... just was saddening how slow it was lol.

Joe apologized for cracking my alternator cover and told me he would be paying for a replacement, then when i eyed the APR carbon fiber one Joe grabbed it off the shelf and tossed it on at no charge!

after we got 1000 miles on the engine, we went back to GoodSpeed for the real tune. Clark and Joe got right to work on it and i watched in anticipation... on their "heart breaker" dyno i did not beat IVIattIVIan putting down a mere 270awhp and 256awt @ 20.5psi

Brianne was SOOO pissed!!! THAT IS UNTIL SHE DROVE IT HAHA she cheered right up after her first pull onto the freeway!

now fast forward a week... Bri calls me to tell me that the oil light started flickering after a quick google i read that this could be very, very bad, or just a bad reading. i tell her to call Joe and see what he thinks. Joe has her bring down right away and quickly finds that the way i plumbed the oil line for my pressure gauge was the culprit. he also did not like my ziptie job holding the front lip on so he bolted it up solid

AND then he wouldn't let Brianne pay, and even when she tried to buy a couple of shirts, he gave them to her free of charge!

NOW THATS SERVICE!
